Jack was a farmer at heart. As a young boy, he learned the family trade and became a successful farmer who loved and cared for the farm for over 60 years. A weekly ritual for him as a farmer was attending the livestock sales. Even if Jack had no intention of buying anything, he would still attend just to be in the environment and spend time with his farmer friends. Jack’s greatest joy in life was his family. His world revolved around his wife, children and grandchildren. He was happiest when his house was filled with laughter and his grandchildren playing. His grandchildren were the light of his life. Jack loved coin collecting, people and nature watching, holding any babies, playing cards, and sneaking sweets. He attended church loyally and lived his life as a true Christian. He was a very generous soul and willing to help others in need. His sense of humor and orneriness will be missed by all that knew him. Jack’s life was a testament to love, family and kindness.
