Schuyler County Student Asher Applegate Receives NEMR Scholarship

NEMR is proud to announce Asher Applegate of Schuyler County High School as a recipient of the 2026 NEMR Scholarship. Asher was awarded a $500 scholarship in recognition of his dedication, achievements, and promising future ahead.

Each year, NEMR awards scholarships to graduating seniors throughout its service area as part of the company’s commitment to supporting education and encouraging local students to pursue their goals after high school.

“At NEMR, we believe our students are the future of our communities,” said NEMR General Manager Michele Gillespie. “We are honored to support these young adults as they begin new journeys and work toward their dreams.”

The scholarship was presented by NEMR’s Gracey Gordon.
