Schuyler Rams Head to Sectionals First Time Ever

On Saturday, May 8, 2021, eighteen track and field teams representing Class 1 District 3

congregated at Schuyler County R-1 High School in hopes of placing in the top four of their

events and moving on to Sectionals, and our Lady Rams and Rams didn’t disappoint.

After weeks of training and dominating during the 20-21 season, the lady Rams track team brought home six meet championships. Several of those wins came at meets competing against Class 2 and 3 schools.

But the most distinguishing win, so far, is their seventh meet win, as District Champions for the first time in school history. The lady Rams took first place with a combined 155 points advancing 16 events to sectionals. Sectionals will be held Saturday at Monroe City, the top four from each event advance to state and will compete Saturday, May 22 in Jefferson City.

The following Lady Rams and Rams are Sectional qualifiers and will compete Saturday in
