Schuyler Bands Travel to Moberly

Friday, March 19, 2021, both the high school and the middle school concert bands traveled to Moberly to play for judges. Both received comments and a 30-minute clinic with the judges. The judges were pleased with the accomplishments of the bands, specifically the ability of each member to contribute to the music.

This is the only on-stage opportunity for the middle school band this year. The High school band used this event for constructive criticism, as we lead up to the MSHSAA State Festival performance at the end of April.

Four Schuyler students recorded auditions for the Lewis and Clark All-Conference Honor Band.

Evianna Aeschliman – Freshman Euphonium

Easton Kimber – Freshman Percussion

Carson Allen – Sophomore Percussion

Nathan Leslie – Junior Alto Saxophone

Both Carson Allen and Nathan Leslie won first chair in their respective sections.
