VFW Post 4958 Commander, David Long, presented the VFW Young American Award to Mrs. Erwin’s, Mrs. Frederick’s and Ms. Maize’s Schuyler County First Grade Classes

On May 13th, after hearing all three Kindergarten and First Grade Classes recite the Pledge of Allegiance, VFW Post 4958 Commander David Long and Quartermaster Dale Bienusa presented each student with The VFW Young American Award. The VFW leadership had been at the school a week prior and handed out a “study card” to each student. All students recited the Pledge of Allegiance flawlessly.
