Glenwood Whistle Stop 4-H Club received a 4-H Feeding Missouri grant in the amount of $250 to supply senior and low-income families with container gardens. This grant was funded by MU Extension, 4-H, and Missouri Farmers Care. They also invited MU Extension Nutrition Program Associate, Shyla Elliot to their meeting Sunday, April 7, to teach them about gardening while they put the containers together. After the club members finished the gardens, they went around delivering them with information about container gardening to people in Lancaster and Glenwood.
