Schuyler County(8-13) drew the top seed in the Class 1, District 5 Softball Tournament at La Plata. The Tournament is scheduled from October 15-21, 2025. The Lady Rams drew a first round bye and will take on the winner of the Atlanta vs. Bevier game on Thursday, October 16 at 3PM in the quarterfinal round.
Putnam County (8-12) is the second seed. The Lady Midgets play the winner of the #7 Brashear (5-9) vs #10 Linn County (1-14) game slated for October 15 at 6:30PM.
LaPlata is seeded third. The Lady Bulldogs take on sixth seeded Green City (10-6) on October 16, 2025 at 7:30PM in the quarterfinal round. Remaining teams are #5 Bucklin-Macon County along with fourth seeded Novinger.
The District 5 semifinal round is scheduled for Monday, October 20 beginning at 5PM. The district championship contest is slated for October 21 at 6PM
