LANCASTER, Mo. — A Queen City woman was killed Monday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Route 136, three miles east of Lancaster in Schuyler County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The patrol reported that a 1999 Oldsmobile 88, driven by a 44-year-old woman from Queen City, crossed the centerline and struck the towed unit of an eastbound 2014 Ford F-250 around 4:01 p.m.
The woman, whose name was not immediately released pending family notification, was pronounced dead at the scene by Schuyler County Coroner Julia McNabb at 4:21 p.m. Her body was transported to Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster.
