Judith Kay (Warren) Croskey

Judith Kay (Warren) Croskey, 76 of Glenwood, Missouri passed away at the St. Luke’s Hospice House in Kansas City, Missouri.
The daughter of Kenneth Arthur and Myrtle Leona (Downey) Warren, she was born on December 7, 1947 in Macon, Missouri. She was a graduate of Kirksville High School in Kirksville, Missouri. On August 15, 1965 at the Hamilton Street Baptist Church in Kirksville, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Stephen Alexander Croskey and to this union, one daughter, Sheri Beth was born. Judy later married Allen James Wilson, and they were married for 27 years.
Judy is survived by one daughter, Sheri Beth Hawkins of Clovis, California; four grandchildren, Stephenie Dubois and husband, Jacques of Las Vegas, Nevada, Timothy Hawkins and wife, Maggie of Fresno, California, Joseph Hawkins of Santa Monica, California and David Hawkins of Clovis, California; one great grandson, Jacques Dubois of Las Vegas, Nevada; other family members and many good friends.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Stephen on July 15, 1985 and Allen James Wilson on August 16, 2023; one sister and husband, Karen and Lou Bales and one brother and wife, Ken and Jo Warren.
Judy worked as the County Clerk in Schuyler County. After her employment as County Clerk, she was employed with First National Bank which later became Bank Midwest. Judy then worked at Lovegreen Ford in Kirksville, Missouri as Office Manager for many years.
She was a member of the Schuyler County Church of Faith in Lancaster, Missouri. She also served as an Advisor for the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls in Lancaster, Missouri and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star in Glenwood, Missouri, a member of the Sunshine Club, a board member of the Schuyler County Ambulance District, a volunteer EMT, a room mother at the Glenwood School and a chairman and vice chairman of the Schuyler County Republican party. Judy enjoyed photography, gardening and crafting.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, July 4, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri with Beverly Smyser officiating. A special music selection, “How Great Thou Art” will be sung by Cole Tippett. Pallbearers will be Jacques Dubois, Timothy Hawkins, Joseph Hawkins, David Hawkins, Jeb Weaver and Bud Lancaster. Visitation will be on Friday, July 4, 2025 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri. Memorials have been established for Blessings Clothes Nook in Lancaster, Missouri. Online condolences may be expressed to the family by logging on to normanfh.com. Interment of the cremains will be at the Glenwood Cemetery in Glenwood, Missouri with Sonny Smyser giving the closing prayer.
