Schuyler County outscored Brashear (0-2) 21-9 in the second quarter of their season opening varsity boys basketball game at Queen City and powered to a 72-38 win. The Rams (1-0) grabbed a 17-8 first quarter lead. 

The Rams rolled up a 23-14 third quarter. Schuyler County led 39-19 at the half. Cole Erwin led Brashear with 22 points. Cade Erwin was in double figures with 15 points. 

Gage Brownell hammered home 21 Ram points. Brody Weaver and Elliott Sevits scored 13 Schuyler County points each. Tyson Droste and Gage Pauley scored eight points each. Mason Windy put in seven Schuyler County points.
