Lancaster Teen in Truck Accident

A teen driver from Lancaster, Missouri, ran off the roadway around 9:20 a.m. in Scotland County on April 26, 2021, on US Highway 136 one mile west of Memphis, Missouri.
The accident report of MSHP Tpr. Hurley stated that the teen, who was eastbound on Highway 136, ran off the road and struck a utility pole.
The teen received minor injuries from the accident, and sought their own treatment. The report also noted that the teen driver was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
The 1997 Ford Ranger that the teen was driving received extensive damage and was towed from the scene by Lakeside Towing of Memphis.
Assisting Tpr. Hurley were other MSHP officers.
