COLUMBIA, Mo. — Schuyler County’s Asher Applegate proudly represented the Rams at the MSHSAA Class 1 State Cross Country Championships, held Nov. 7–8 at the Gans Creek Cross Country Course in Columbia. Applegate finished the 5K course in 18:51.9, competing among more than 170 of Missouri’s top small-school runners. The senior’s performance placed him solidly in the middle of the talented Class 1 field, marking a strong conclusion to his high school cross country career.
