Two Vehicle Accident in Queen City Leads to Arrerst

 

A driver’s failure to yield at Wabash and 6th Street in Queen City, Missouri, results in an accident on February 10, 2021, at 3:50 p.m.

The accident report of MSHP Tpr. Crose stated that Brian H. Richmond, 49, of Lucas, Iowa, failed to yield at the stop sign, while in the westbound lane of 6th Street. He struck Tim F. Scott, 52, of Queen City, who was in the southbound lane of Wabash.

Pearley L. Richmond, 53, of Waterloo, Iowa, a passenger in the vehicle Brian Richmond was driving, was transported by Schuyler County Ambulance to the Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Missouri, with minor injuries.

According to the MSHP report, Richmond, Scott, and Pearley L. Richmond were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the accident.

Both Richmond’s 2007 Nissan and Scoot’s 2011 Chevrolet sustained moderate damage and were removed from the scene by the owners.

Brian H. Richmond was arrested at the scene for driving while his license was suspended and failure to yield, which resulted in an accident. He was taken to the Schuyler County jail.
