One Vehicle Accident Sends Driver to Hospital

The driver of a 2002 Ford Escape was hospitalized after an accident on US 136 about seven miles southwest of Lancaster.

According to the accident report of MSHP MSgt. Rohn, the accident occurred on July 30, 2020, around 9 a.m., when Sheena J. Coffman, 32, of Lancaster, Missouri, traveled off of the right side of US 136, and she struck a fence and a tree.

Having received minor injuries, she was transported to Northeast Regional Medical Center Kirksville, Missouri, by the Schuyler County Ambulance service. The report stated that she was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.

The Ford received minor damage and was towed by Lakeside Wrecker.

Working the accident with MSgt. Rohn, were Tpr. Hendershott, Schuyler County Sheriff’s department, and the Schuyler County Ambulance service.
