Public Comment: Steve Sanders, Project Manager with TerraGen, was in to see if the commissioners had any questions, comments and concerns with the wind project. Bree passed on that she received a Facebook message from Connie Slaughter-Hawkins wanting to know if the commissioners have been driving the state roads and what they were going to do about the damage to them. Bree responded to the message last week letting her know that they are state roads and that she needs to contact MODOT about them.
Greg Sharpe, Missouri House of Representative from the 4th District, did a phone conference with the commissioners about the state roads in Schuyler County. He has received several calls from citizens in Schuyler County concerned about the damages to the state roads from the heavy traffic from the wind project. The commissioners stated that they have received calls as well, but there is nothing that they can do since they are state highways. MODOT is the one that needs to be taking care of them. Mr. Sharpe stated that he just wanted to touch base with the commissioners and wanted to let them know that he will be speaking with someone from MODOT about the concerns.
Charles West, candidate for US House District #6, did a meet and greet with the commissioners.
Darla Campbell with the University of Missouri Extension office came to talk to the commissioners about more information she has researched on the criteria for the CARES Act Money.
The commissioners reviewed the software installation, license and hardware lease agreement between the Recorder’s office and iCounty Technologies, LLC again. The commissioners spoke to Sara Beeler, Recorder of Deeds, with some questions they had about the contract. Jeff made a motion to sign the contract, Jim seconded. Vote 3- yes, 0-no.
Checks for payroll and bills were reviewed, signed and distributed.
