Terry E. Anders, 38 of Greentop, Missouri, was eastbound on Highway W on Monday morning and failed to stop at the intersection at U.S. Highway 63 and drove into the side of a northbound 18 wheeler. This accident resulted in the death of his passage, JoAnn Vice, 37 of Greentop, Missouri. The accident on January 2 was the first Troop B fatality for 2012.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol report stated that a 2010 International semi-tractor trailer driven by William L. Davis, 57 of Macon, Missouri was northbound on Highway 63 when he was struck at 9:25 a.m. by a 1980 GMC pickup driven by Anders. The report further indicated that neither Anders nor Vice were wearing their seat belts.
